New York Fashion Tour

May 19-24, 2019

This could be the trip of your dreams and your chance to go behind the scenes in New York's fashion district. We meet Sunday at our hotel near the garment district for a get acquainted dinner reception. Your guides will be Marsha McClintock and Marla Kazell. See New York from the top of One World Observatory during our private half-day city bus tour and visit many of New York's fabric and trim stores as well as a fabric flower factory. Other activities include a private viewing of garments from FIT's clothing collection, the Metropolitan Museum's fashion exhibit and a tour of McCall pattern company. An evening at a Broadway musical is planned along with a visit with a Broadway actor and costumer. You will have free time to explore New York and we will finish the week with a beautiful evening cruise on the "Bateaux," an all-glass dining vessel. This tour requires a significant amount of walking. Space is limited to 20, so don't delay. Minimum age is 16 years.
